Martlets is a local charity, providing essential services to people affected by terminal illness in Brighton and Hove, and surrounding areas. Our expert teams provide the very best hospice care and support, helping patients and their loved ones live life to the full during the precious time they have together. Most people receive care from us in their own homes. Others with more complex needs spend their final days or weeks on our inpatient wards, or join us for periods of symptom management or respite care. Outpatients also visit our hospice for pain relief, physiotherapy, counselling, complementary therapies and community social activities.

The Marylebone Project provides a life-changing service to women experiencing homelessness in London. We empower women to end their homelessness and live independently, through providing the only rough sleepers drop in open 24/7, 365 days a year exclusively for women in the UK, as well as 112 residential beds, and a wrap-around, specialist service supporting women to end their homelessness, rebuild their lives and live independently.

Matthew’s Friends are a UK registered charity (established 2004) specialising exclusively In medical Ketogenic Dietary Therapies. We support patients, families and professionals by providing information, training, research and grants to develop Ketogenic services and support systems for drug resistant (refractory) epilepsy as well as other neurological disorders. MenWalkTalk aims to reduce the stigma around men’s mental health and encourage men to talk openly about their issues. Men often avoid seeking support, and MenWalkTalk want to change this. MenWalkTalk facilitate walking groups for men aged 18+, creating safe spaces where they can speak freely and benefit from peer support. Our walks are led by fully trained volunteers, and offer an alternative, accessible way that men can seek support, as and when they want to, in a low-pressure environment.
