The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families. We receive no public funding and rely on the generosity of those within in the industry to help us continue our vital work.

The Limbless Association (LA) is the leading national Civilian charity which has been supporting amputees and their families across the UK since 1983. We aim to ensure that no amputee need cope alone by providing free, high-quality information, advice and support to anyone pre- or post-amputation or living with congenital limb impairment. Our services include the LA helpdesk, access to legal advice, Volunteer Visitor peer support, Support and Connect outreach programme and Virtually Speaking online events, LA website, information packs and StepForward magazine.

LINC works to improve the care of patients from Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, East Powys and South Worcestershire, who are receiving intensive chemotherapy for leukaemia, lymphome and other cancers. We provide financial help at the sharp end and fund both a clinical psychologist and a leukaemia research fellow. LINC has also funded a dedicated haematology out patient department at Cheltenham General Hospital and is currently working to raise £500k to create a countywide haematology day unit at Gloucester Royal Hospital. Our aim is to ensure that the treatment provided is second to none.

We have 10 in patient beds catering for end of life care along with a wellbeing centre that has a wide range of clinics and therapies from health, social, mental and spiritual. Catering for hundreds of families per year with all services free of charge to their user.

LinkAble is a charity based in Surrey which helps children and adults with learning disabilities in Woking and Surrey Heath. We offer people activities and experiences that they struggle to access in the wider community, supporting them to learn new skills, form lasting friendships and lead fulfilling, independent lives. We have a fully accessible centre in Woking and also work out and about in the local community. We provide weekly groups for children, young people and adults, a bi-monthly night club and regular holiday schemes which provide fun and engaging time for people with learning disabilities, and vital respite for exhausted parents and carers. For many, LinkAble is a lifeline.

The Little Beam Foundation is a charity designed to support children and young adults (3-18yrs) struggling with Mental Health Issues by providing access and grants to gain effective support through Art, Play, Sport, Music, Education and Health.

Little Lifts is on a mission to provide free, thoughtfully curated Little Lifts gift Boxes to every breast cancer patient in the UK receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment. In the East of England, our hospital partnerships ensure that every eligible person is reached. Elsewhere in the UK, people can apply to our ‘Little Kindness Fund’ to access our support. We understand that everyone’s experience of breast cancer treatment is different. Our Boxes are carefully curated by people who have personal experiences of breast cancer treatment, and we always choose planet-friendly, ethically made items where we can. Each Box is hand packed with love by a volunteer in our community, often by a woman who has benefitted from our support. Our Boxes contain carefully curated products to help alleviate some of the side effects of treatment and provide practical support, as well as mood-boosting goodies to promote emotional well-being. Our recipients say that a Little Lifts Box makes a huge difference to their wellbeing. One told us ‘It is not a box of cutlery and tea bags, it is a gesture of compassion and understanding sent without judgement and with no expectation, from fellow members of a club that no one wants to be part of’.

LIVES is a charity supporting 700+  highly trained and dedicated volunteer medics and Community First Responders (CFRs) living in communities across Greater Lincolnshire. CFRs get to patients in their local community fast to administer vital  emergency care before handing over to the ambulance service. They are there for more than 20,000 people each year, that’s an average of  55 people visited by our volunteers every day. Their actions save lives.
