Our children's Wishes range from meeting a favourite celebrity, experiencing a magical holiday, specialised equipment to having a dream day filled with love and laughter. A Wish is a vital source of support and strives to break through the daily barriers that impact our families of isolation & loneliness, mental health, sensory needs, physical emotional wellbeing, and financial strain. Each Wish is carefully tailored to the child’s hopes and needs, creating moments that allow them to be more than their illness, to be simply a child again. A Wish creates life-long precious memories for our families when they might not have thought it could be possible to achieve through illness or disability.

Whittington Health Charity is the dedicated charity for Whittington Health NHS Trust. We enhance the quality of care and improve the experiences of patients and staff by funding projects that go above and beyond what the NHS is able to provide.

Whizz-Kidz improves the quality of life of disabled children and young people throughout the UK through the provision of customised mobility equipment such as wheelchairs and tricycles. It is dedicated to providing help and advice to the children and their families and raising awareness of mobility-related issues through national campaigning.

To mark WHSmith's 225th anniversary, the WHSmith Trust is supporting three fantastic causes - Cancer Research UK, Mind and the National Literacy Trust. All monies will be split equally between the three charities.

Wild things! is an award winning environmental education charity working in Moray, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands. Since 2003, Wild things! has enabled over 15,000 children, young people and adults to learn from and be inspired by their local natural environment and the remote wilderness regions of Scotland Our programmes encourage a mutually beneficial relationship between individuals and their natural environment: we provide the opportunity for our participants to understand, appreciate and care for the natural environment whilst at the same time acquiring new skills, confidence, and interests. Our activities benefit all age groups from the young (from five years up) to adults and older people. We work in partnership with a range of organisations providing extra support for young people considered ‘at risk’ or who are struggling within mainstream education as well as vulnerable adults.

We are an active group of parents, grandparents and friends. We work throughout the year to put on social events and raise additional funding for the school.  We are pleased to say that WISS and JET are now amalgamated! Having run so many wonderful events together for several years! Some of our events are for children, some are for grown-ups and some are for all the family.  Much of the money we raise is to provide all children in school with wonderful experiences which other schools ask parents/carers to pay for. The Williams Syndrome Foundation was formed in 1980 and is run by parents for parents of children with this rare condition which causes heart and kidney problems and learning difficulties. It desperately needs funds to finance its ambitious research and family support programmes which include national conventions and regional meetings.

The Willow Foundation provides quality of life and quality of time for seriously ill young adults through the provision of special days.  The aim of the special day is to offer 'time out' from treatment and allow seriously ill young adults to spend time with friends and family pursuing an activity they all enjoy.

Willow project is a registered charity in Atherton, and has been offering therapeutic support to the community since 1992. Our main purpose is to work primarily with young people and the adults in their family, through one-to-one counselling and therapeutic group work. We work towards alleviating mental health and emotional issues, increasing self-esteem and confidence by looking at coping strategies, building resilience, and developing aspirations for the future.

We are an independent charity established in 1993 by local people to raise funds to build and run a specialist palliative care unit. Willowbrook relies on donations and we thank you for your continued support and understanding at this time. Unfortunately due to the outbreak of COVID-19 virus we are unable to receive donations of goods at this time. The hospice, located in Prescot, close to the communities that it serves, cares for patients with life limiting diseases living in St Helens, Knowsley and the surrounding areas. Since the hospice opened in 1997, we have cared for over 9000 patients. During that time our services have grown so much that we now receive approximately 1000 patient referrals a year.

Wirral Hospice St John’s provides FREE care for adult patients with life-limiting illnesses. We also support carers and loved ones. Families are at the heart of everything we do. We passionately believe that a life-limiting diagnosis should not limit, as far as is practically possible, a person’s quality of life. Although some NHS funding is received, the majority of our income is donated by individuals, families, groups, companies and charitable trusts. Every penny really counts and helps us to make a real difference to the specialist care we provide for our patients and those important to them.

Wishes 4 Kids is a Leicester based children's Charity which grants wishes for young people of eighteen years and below who are life-limited, terminally ill, have suffered life changing physical or emotional traumas and those who have been severely abused.

We are an ultra-rare progressive neuro-degenerative genetic syndrome that affects children and adults. There are 4 main features - Diabetes Insipidus, Type 1 Diabetes, vision loss and hearing loss. It also cause loss of gag reflex, respiratory complications, anxiety plus more. It is a life shortening condition with no cure. We support the individuals affected and their families. We are the only charity and support group in the UK for Wolfram Syndrome

World Child Cancer improves the diagnosis, treatment and support of children with cancer in the developing world and their families. We achieve this via our twinning partnerships between hospitals in the developing world and those in the developed world. These partnerships, together with staff training and mentoring, provide valuable expertise which builds the sustainable capacity and knowledge of doctors and nurses in-country. We also provide holistic care for families, support treatment costs, provide ward equipment and fund essential staff posts. In order to affect long term change, we also deliver awareness-raising programmes and liaise with policy-makers at home and abroad.
