The Cancer Treatment and Research Trust (CTRT) was founded in 1985. Our main role is to research why and how cancers develop; find better ways of detecting and monitoring cancers, and testing new treatments. CTRT funds research work undertaken by consultants at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex; Hammersmith Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital, London. Our mission is to enable consultants to continue turning research ideas into exciting research studies and new life-saving treatments.

We achieve this through grants, resource guidance, training and development, mental wellbeing support, and advocacy for fair pay, working conditions and recognition. Through our initiatives, care workers receive crucial assistance during times of need and benefit from ongoing development opportunities and meaningful engagement in shaping the policies that affect their profession. The Care Workers’ Charity is dedicated to supporting the social care workforce, those providing care and support to the million+ people drawing on social care. We believe that care workers deserve recognition, support, and advocacy for the vital work they do every day. Our mission revolves around three key pillars: crisis support, mental health initiatives, and advocacy for fair treatment, pay, and recognition. Caring for others is a demanding job, and sometimes, care workers themselves find they need help. The Care Workers’ Charity is here to provide immediate financial assistance to those facing crises. Whether it's sudden illness, unexpected expenses, or a personal emergency, our grants provide essential support during challenging times. We have distributed over £6.2 million to more than 12,200 care workers. Beyond financial aid, our Grants Team offers resources and signposting to ensure that care workers can access the full spectrum of help available to them. Partnering with Red Umbrella, we provide free counselling sessions and Mental Health First Aider training to care workers. This initiative has benefited over 500 care workers, helping to address the mental health challenges that can be prevalent in such a demanding profession. Mental Health First Aider Training allows care workers to support their colleagues and is creating a nationally accredited. We recognise the importance of mental well-being, not just for the individual care workers but also for the quality of care they can provide for those they support. At the CWC, we actively campaign for the fair treatment, recognition, and pay that care workers deserve. Care work is skilled, essential work, and it should be recognised as such. Through our workforce advocacy program, we engage in projects, advisory boards, and collaborations to push for improvements in working conditions, comprehensive training, and fair wages. We believe that care workers should be treated with the respect and dignity that their vital roles demand. We believe that the voices of care workers should be central to any conversation about social care's future. That’s why we are launching our Care Worker Advisory Board and host initiatives like Professional Care Workers’ Week. Through these platforms, we gather insights directly from care workers, ensuring their experiences and perspectives shape our work, as well as broader policy and research discussions. We've also involved care workers in research projects including the ethical use of AI in social care in partnership with the University of Oxford and the use of electric cars in care workers alongside Possible.

Through The Challenge Fund, Project Hospice Nepal is fundraising for a desperately-needed new hospice in Kathmandu and the provision of palliative care in Nepal.

The Childrens Air Ambulance is an Inter hospital transfer service for critically ill babies and children from local hospitals to specialist paediatric centres throughout Great Britain. Cinnamon Trust is the only specialist national charity which seeks to relieve the anxieties, problems, and sometimes injustices, faced by elderly and terminally ill people and their pets, thereby saving a great deal of human sadness and animal suffering. The Trust was founded in 1985 by Mrs Averil Jarvis whose determination and dedication has ensured that the manifest need is fully addressed. The Trust’s primary objective is to respect and preserve the treasured relationship between owners and their pets. To this end it works in partnership with owners to overcome any difficulties that might arise. A national network of over 18,000 community service volunteers has been established to provide practical help when any aspect of day to day care poses a problem – for example, walking the dog for a housebound owner. A national fostering service is provided for pets whose owners face a spell in hospital – volunteers take pets into their own homes and supply love and care in abundance until owner and pet can be reunited. The Cinnamon Trust also provides long term care for pets whose owners have died or moved to residential accommodation which will not accept pets. Arrangements are made between owners and the Trust well in advance, so owners do have peace of mind in the knowledge that their beloved companion will have a safe and happy future. Emergency cards are available on request.

We are the only drop-in day centre in Brighton & Hove for 16-to-25 year old's who are experiencing homelessness. We provide practical and emotional support to help young people to move from crisis to stability. We want Brighton and Hove to be a city where young people’s experience of homelessness is rare, brief and non-recurring.

The Donkey Sanctuary is a UK based charity working worldwide to improve conditions for donkeys and mules. It has nearly 7,000 donkeys and mules in its care across the UK and Europe. The average cost of sanctuary care for each donkey is around £2,000 per year. This covers feed, bedding, farm and building maintenance, medical costs and includes the services of professional staff including grooms, farriers, vets, dental technicians and welfare advisers.

The Douglas Bader Foundation exists to advance and promote the physical, mental and spiritual; welfare and benefit of persons who are without one or more limbs, or otherwise physically disabled.

The DPJ Foundation is a Welsh charity to support those in rural communities and in agriculture with mental health problems. We do this by reducing the stigma that surrounds poor mental health, educating people with mental health awareness training and providing counselling and a 24/7 helpline.

The Dream Team grants special wishes to enhance the lives of seriously ill, disabled & terminally ill children. A dream can enhance a child's quality of life by providing much needed equipment. A short break away can give the family as a whole some time away from the daily struggles of living with a serious condition. A dream can bring new determination to a child who may be weary from treatment or discomfort and also can spur their determination to continue with often painful medical treatments. We receive no statutory funding and rely entirely on the generous support of the local community, businesses, grant-making trusts & other philanthropic organisations and individuals for support.

Dylan Michael James O'Brien was born on February 4th 2010 and died of an undiagnosed metabolic condition on June 15th 2012. The Foundation was set up by his parents in his memory to raise awareness and support for children with metabolic and genetic diseases and their families. Our main aims are to provide specialist equipment for these children to improve their quality of life, to raise awareness to aid in diagnosis of these diseases and to improve public knowledge of these diseases. Our current campaign is raising money to donate Sleep Apnoea Breathing Monitors to Hospitals.
