The Stars Appeal is the charity for Salisbury District Hospital. Every day, work funded by the charity helps hundreds of patients at Salisbury District Hospital and supports the NHS staff who care for them. The Stars Appeal aims to raise over £1million each year to fund projects which offer direct, practical support to patients, their families, and the Hospital’s staff.

STARS is a pan-Dorset charity that offers one to one support, free of charge, for anyone of any age or gender, who lives works or studies in Dorset and has experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives. We provide several different types of support including an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Service, Counselling, a Children and Young People's Service and a Support Line.

STOKE CITY FOOTBALL CLUB'S Community Trust was founded in 1989 and became a registered charity in 2004. Formerly known as the Club's Football in the Community scheme or Community Programme, the Trust engages with people in many varied ways to stimulate an environment in which they can realise their potential and subsequently accomplish more in whatever walk of life they choose for personal and professional development. As well as providing sporting opportunities for young people to pursue and enjoy a more active lifestyle, programmes also stimulate a more positive outlook for others in need of encouragement and support, regardless of their economic status or physical ability. The Trust is devoted to the community it serves. Within the catchment areas of Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire Moorlands, Stafford, South Staffordshire and parts of North-West Shropshire, we contact and attempt to benefit the lives of approximately 150,000 children and young people each year. Self-funding and financially independent of Stoke City Football Club, the Trust is accountable to a Board of Trustees. These include Stoke-on-Trent South MP Robert Flello and Denis Smith, who made over 400 City appearances between 1966 and 1982. Since the Club won promotion to the Premier League in 2008, the Trust has developed remarkably, from a highly respected deliverer of football courses to a leading provider of sporting, education and social programmes.

Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research fund vital medical research into the debilitating health complications of paralysis experienced by those who have sustained a spinal cord injury (SCI). In the UK alone there are currently more 105,000 people living with SCI. Someone will sustain a spinal cord injury every 2 hours - that's 12 people every day. The research we fund will help to realise a future where people with Spinal Cord Injury can live healthier and more fulfilled lives.

Street League's mission is to see an end to youth unemployment. We use football, rugby, dance and fitness programmes to support young people from disadvantaged areas into work, education and training. OUR MISSION: TO HELP END YOUTH HOMELESSNESS THROUGH THE POWER OF FOOTBALL Our nationally acclaimed flagship programme is our 'Street Soccer Academy' - the No.1 football-led project tackling youth homelessness in England. Providing a 10-week learning and personal development programme (or 'experience') for 18-25 year olds, selected young participants benefit from a fusion of: a) Professional Football Coaching; b) Growth/Positive Mindset Training; and c) Skills & Employability Workshops: a specially crafted 'hat-trick' to enable programme participants to fundamentally improve their skills, health & well-being and mindset - and be ready and able to move into Work, Education or Further Training on successful programme completion.

StreetVet is an award winning national charity delivering free accessible veterinary care and support to the pets of those experiencing homelessness in multiple locations around the UK. StreetVet was founded to take veterinary care out onto the streets directly to the people and pets that need it most. What began in 2016 as two vets, and a backpack full of veterinary supplies, has grown into a robust volunteer-delivered organisation, with nearly 500 vet and vet nurse volunteers. The volunteers swap the practice for the pavement in 23 locations across the UK, from Glasgow to Cornwall, with more locations being added. StreetVet champions the importance of the human-animal bond and has treated more than 3,000 pets and conducted more than 11,700 consultations since its founding. Many people experiencing homelessness face the heartbreaking choice between securing shelter and a roof over their heads or keeping their best friend. A choice nobody should have to make. Recognising that less than 10% of UK hostels are pet-inclusive, StreetVet launched the StreetVet Accredited Hostel Scheme in 2020. This initiative aims to make it easier for hostels to welcome pets, ensuring owners and their beloved companions can stay together.

We are a charity which provides a Suicide Crisis Centre, a safe place where clients will be supported and helped through their crisis. Our care continues for as long as they need it. We provide face to face crisis support. Our new Centre is open 24 hours a day. We are completely independent and this independence has allowed us to set up the kind of services that our clients want. Our work has been described as "pioneering" by the Chief Constable of the British Transport Police. Our work has also been described as "inspirational" and "extraordinary" by the South West Zero Suicide Collaborative, one of three pilot schemes for the Government zero suicide initiative. We receive no regular grants / funding and rely predominantly on public donations. We guarantee that public donations do not go on staff salaries or advertising: the donated money goes directly towards services for people in suicidal crisis.

Suicide Prevention Bristol is an award-winning suicide prevention charity supporting anyone with thoughts of suicide with our National Suicide Prevention Helpline, open 24/7, also with our social media pages, and by being out in the community.

Northern Sumatra’s rainforests are irreplaceable. They are some of the most important forests on the planet, home to rare Tapanuli & Sumatran orangutans and other precious species. Supporting thousands of forest-edge communities, these ecosystems are key in the global fight against climate change. Our mission is to protect orangutans, their forests and their future. We aim to do this via our three goals: PROTECT - We work to keep existing rainforests secure and stable, ensuring a home for Sumatran and Tapanuli orangutans to enable their existing communities to thrive. CONNECT - We work to create "corridors" between fragmented areas of rainforest so that groups of orangutans are not isolated from each other. REWILD - We work to help degraded rainforest landscapes to recover by healing the land and planting a diverse range of trees and other fauna, creating even more space for orangutans to thrive.
