Our aim is to brighten the lives of seriously and terminally ill children during intensive treatment and extended hospital stays. A large part of this includes our regular hospital visits with our team of magicians, singers, poets, face-painters, fairies, therapy dogs and children’s characters, who entertain thousands of hospitalised children every year, distracting them from pain and treatment, relieving the monotony of the hospital environment and creating happy, positive memories at the most challenging of times.

St Barnabas Hospice is the leading charity in Lincolnshire providing palliative and end-of-life care to adults living with a life-limiting or terminal illness. Each year we support over 12,000 people across Lincolnshire by providing free, compassionate, dignified palliative and end-of-life care, as well as wellbeing services such as bereavement support, counselling, and welfare and benefits advice. Our Vision is a world where dying with dignity, compassion and having choices is a fundamental part of a life. Our Mission is to ensure all individuals facing the end of their life in Lincolnshire receive dignified, compassionate care when they require it and where they ask for it. By way of example, every £19.93 raised will enable St Barnabas to provide one hour of specialist at-home care to a patient living with a life-limiting or terminal illness.

The Bursary Fund at St Bede's College Manchester exists to not only support and increase access to Bedian education it's impact is far greater in terms of working to support and defend Bedian education and sharing it with as many young people as possible. The long term aspiratio of the "Giving Back; Looking forward" campaign is to build an endowment fund to enable talented young people from a wide range of backgrounds to benefit from a Bedian education.

St Catherine’s Hospice provides care & support, free of charge, to terminally ill people & their loved ones in Crawley, Horsham, Mid Sussex & East Surrey.

At St Christophers Hospice our vision is of a world in which all dying people and those close to them have access to the care and support they need, when and wherever they need it. We were founded in 1967 by Dame Cicely Saunders and, nearly 50 years later, her words still remain at the heart of everything we do: You matter because you are you and you matter until the last moment of your life. Each person is unique and we tailor our care to meet social, emotional and spiritual needs, as well as manage physical symptoms. Every year we provide care and support to over 6,000 people across South East London, both at home and in the hospice.

St Clare Hospice is a charity providing specialist palliative care to improve the lives of people affected by a life-limiting illness in West Essex and the borders of East Hertfordshire. With limited NHS funding, we need to raise more than 70% of our annual costs to provide our vital services; in 2024/2025 the running costs of our charity are expected to be £8.1 million. We therefore rely on our local community to help us raise money each year so we can continue being there for local families facing one of the most difficult journeys in life.

St Columba’s Hospice cares for patients in Edinburgh and the Lothians with cancer and other terminal illnesses.All of our services are given completely free of charge to all those who need our care and support.As a charity we depend on support to ensure that we can continue to provide our care to our patients and their families at the most difficult of times.

St. David’s Foundation has been providing a ‘hospice at home service’ in Newport, Torfaen, Caerphilly and Monmouthshire since 1979. Last year we cared for over 2,600 patients facing a life-threatening illness, their families and carers. At any one time our nurses are caring for over 960 patients. The cost of providing the service, which is free-of-charge to patients and their families, is over £4.6 million per annum.

St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people in East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Waveney living with a progressive or life-limiting illness. Our work is centred on an individual's needs, which means specialist support, whenever and wherever it is needed, whether at home, in the community or at the hospice. Through medicine and therapy we ease pain; we give life purpose and make life liveable

Based in the church building in the heart of Radford, Coventry, St Francis Employability is a registered charity that offers a wide variety of activities aimed at supporting the community closer to meaningful engagement in education and employment as well as supporting those in living a thriving and fulfilling life. Within our building we offer a work club with a computer area, as well as support with job search, cv writing and job application forms. We offer community support which can be support with anything from benefit applications, school applications, bills, form filling, and much more. We provide ESOL lessons and skills training with a creche facility. We have a community café area which serves breakfast and lunch throughout the week and offer volunteering placements in a variety of roles with additional opportunities to join friendship groups. On a weekly basis we have over 300 people engaging in these services and accessing support and approximately 40 volunteers on our rota at a time. We also offer food support which was initially a response to coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in March 2020. In the first instance it was set up to address the immediate food poverty and it has since grown and we have been able to develop this model to form a social supermarket, which not only provides food support, but also looks at underlying issues such as financial hardship and unemployment, with the aim of supporting and moving people towards independence. Since the beginning of our food support offer, we have issued over 1600 foodbank parcels to those in need and 1120 social supermarket parcels to our members. We currently have 33 households attending our social supermarket regularly and from September 2020 we have had 94 households join our social supermarket with many moving onto find a job, education opportunities, and more stability with their income and expenditure. We are also commissioned by Coventry City Council to work with local refugees, to support with ESOL and employment. We are a key partner in many different projects in Coventry which focus on supporting this client group in ESOL, employment and skills training. We also hold a place on the integration board. We pride ourselves in offering an extensive amount of support in one place and encourage members of the community to engage in as many services as they feel would be of benefit to them. We are a responsive organisation that adapts to the needs of the community. It is also important to us to be able to support those who are often excluded from society, and at risk of becoming marginalised. To this end, we want to be able to provide services that support the most disadvantaged people.

St. Gemma's Hospice is committed to meeting the needs of people with active, progressive and advanced illness. By providing specialist palliative care, it promotes the highest quality of life for patients with continuing support for families and carers.  

St George's Crypt provides care, support and shelter for homeless, rootless and disadvantaged people from Leeds and the surrounding areas. It runs a drop-in centre, provides crisis accommodation for rough sleepers, and runs two hostels for residents with a history of alcohol dependency.

St Giles in an independent Midlands charity caring for people living with cancer and other serious illnesses.  Founded in 1983 St Giles has become one of the leading providers of care and support for local people and their families affect by life threatening illness in the region.    

St Helena Hospice provides specialist palliative care services, with no charge to people living in North Essex who have progressive, life threatening illness.

Nothing is more tragic than a life lost needlessly. Yet every year, up to 150,000* people die in situations where first aid could have given them the chance to live. St John Ambulance teaches people first aid so that they can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

Wales' leading first aid charity St John Ambulance Cymru provides first aid treatment, training, and transport for communities across Wales.

We are committed to celebrating and amplifying life, enabling people to live well for as long as possible. We support more than 4,000 people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across North London. Our services include community care, Hospice@Home, day services, inpatient care, social and welfare support, therapies and bereavement support. All our care is provided completely free of charge.
